Prospection in Subterranean Environments of Microbial Bioactive Compounds with potential use in Medicine, Agriculture and Environment (Probioma) 0483_PROBIOMA_5_E is a research project granted by the Management Committee of the Interreg VA Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2014-2020, in its second call, which took place in Madrid on March 28, 2019.
Within the framework of the 2nd call of the Program, 295 applications were submitted, of which 96 were approved, with a total of more than 84 million euros allocated in ERDF aid.
The PROBIOMA consortium is made up of four beneficiaries, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the University of Évora, the University of the Algarve and the Mining Services of Andalusia (SEMA S.L.). The project completion date will be December 31, 2021.
